Calibrating meters/levels

Hi All,

I run Sonar 2.0 with the Aarvark DP 24/96 - and then onto external tape decks (for copies and such.)

Is there a quick way to calibrate meters - especially as far as the external decks are concerned?..some sort of tone generator maybe?

My Q10 has the ability to generate a tone that can be routed through the various channels as way to test them. If your 24/96 has this capability and Aardvark can tell you what the level of the tone is (in dBU), maybe you could route it to the outputs and use it to calibrate the meters.

Probably a more convoluted solution than you need but...
 
Cool. That's actually the sort of thing I was wondering about. I think I'll fire an email to Aardvark and see what they suggest.

Duh!

How many times have I seen the tone generator in the 24/96 patchbay? a million? Sheesh!
