Does anyone know of a CAL program out there that would take a selected group of markers and generate a list of possible tempos that would hit as many of the markers as possible on a beat? I'm starting to try my hand at some film scoring and it would be really neat to do this. Maybe it could even read the last few characters of the marker title and use it for weighting, so you could indicate which markers were most important to you?

If not, maybe I'll just have to try writing some of my own CAL programs finally... :)

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Don't do it, it's a trap!!!
The hungry jaws of CAL will show no mercy to your studio time if you go down that path!
Actually, I was hoping CAL would dissappear with SONAR. Did it? It has got to be one of the least-used features, followed closely by StudioWare.

Thanks for the warning, Aaron!

But I'm already programming for a living so I figure I should be able to handle CAL OK...

(actually there's a guy in our group named Cal).
