Cakewalk Vs. Cool Edit Pro

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I am a newbie so please bear with me.

I have both Cakewalk Home Studio and Cool Edit Pro. I've only done a few recordings with both and to me, Cakewalk seems easier to use but Cool Edit Pro seems to produce better sounding results. Again, I'm new here so I would like some opinions and comments on anyone who has used either of these products.

I have both and they sound the same to me. And actually they should. Check your settings.
