I just installed Pro Audio 9 on my new laptop, and am attempting to try out the Edirol UA-5 with it. Before I installed Pro Audio I'd had no trouble getting the Edirol to work with Acid Pro 4, but now that I've installed PA I can't get the Edirol to work at all, with either program. I keep getting a message that indicates the sample/bit rate is incompatible, but I've checked both the Edirol and PA setup and they're both set to 44.1/16 bit recording. Any ideas on how to fix this? Does anyone know if the Edirol and PA 9 are even compatible? Also, I'm running Win XP.
I appreciate any comments as I'm a real newbie to computer based recording. Thanks!
