Cakewalk PA9 vs. Sonar 2

Forgive my ignorance but is Sonar better that PA9? I have not used either program but I own PA9. I got it a year or so ago and at the time it was the best. I have decided to finally build a PC based audio system and went looking for some info on PA9 and found Sonar. I can upgrade from PA9 to Sonar 2. Should I? What are the advantaged and disadvantages? Also how does it work with a Delta 1010?

It is my opinion that Sonar is a major improvement over PA9, and Sonar 2 just builds on that even more. Check out this link for the feature comparison chart: http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/SR/SRvsPA.html

PA9 is a discontinued product. Sonar was basically PA10, so I guess Sonar 2.0 could be considered PA11.

The new User Interface alone is worth the upgrade.

Soon to be getting sonar2,have sonar,had pa9 and can tell you unequivically sonar is much better.More and better effects,softsynths included and most importantly easier to work with.
