Cakewalk & Midi Timepiece AV Usb Problem!

I have MTP AV USB version hooked up on my PC running Cakewalk Pro Audio 9. I installed everything correctly but I am having trouble with Cakewalk and MTP AV midi communication. At first when I start Cakewalk, everything seems to be working just fine but a few minutes later when I really start editing and sequencing going back and forth, suddenly midi communication between Cakewalk and MTP dies and there's no sound at all.

And when I try to exit Cakewalk after that happens, my computer freezes.. why is that? I am really lost, please HELP!!!!!!!!

Is it because of Sound Blaster I have in my pc? I have no idea PLEASE HELP 911~!!!

sigh... it could be any number of things.. have you tried the troubleshooting suggestions on the MOTU website? Might you have an IRQ conflict?
