Cakewalk for FREE!

... that is if you buy the latest issue of Computer Music. It's from UK, but they distribute to any country you can think of...

And it's a cutdown version of Cakewalk Plasma, called Cakewalk Plasma Express 2003. It comes complete with Tassman LE DXi, FX Pad Lite and a selection of Cakewalk adudio FX. It features 8 audiotracks, unlimited MIDI-tracks, and best of all, it's not a demo. It's fully functioning, never expiring program!

I haven't tested it myself, I live happily with Sonar 2 xl...

I have a copy of that one. It's limited to 4 or 8 tracks, can't remember. but, yeah, it's fully functional. I got it like 4 months ago tho...from that magazine

cool, so, how many audio/midi tracks do you get to use??

It's confusing: In place in the mag they say "8 audio / unlimited midi", but turn the page and they say "8 tracks".
