In the Cakewalk Compressor/Gate and Limiter effects, there are a couple of rows of 'LEDs' that light up to indicate when compression/limiting is taking effect.

Can anyone tell me what the green/yellow/red lights mean?

They're supposed to tell you where the original signal is compared to the compressed signal level-vise. But they're not doing a good job...

Use the meters (in the Track/Console View) instead. :)
