cakewalk and acoustic mirror??

is sonic foundrys acoustic mirror plug in supposed to work with cakewalk pa9 or just with sonic foundry? I know it's a direct x plug in but i downloaded the free demo and it doesn't do anything except cause instant drop outs and funny beeps when i try to use it with Cakewalk PA 9.02. I have G$##!!*** Windows ME, 1 GHZ CPU, 320 MB memory so it's not running out of resources.
 
Well you big dumb-ass, if you had checked the acoustic mirror troubleshooting section 5 minutes before instead of 5 minutes after posting this you would have found that it doesn't work in real time with cakewalk. It does work in the audio editor dropdown menu so if you want to use it you could apply the effect and then undo it if it wasn't what you liked......... Hey, i'm pretty smart. I answered my own question!
