cakewalk 9 problem...

cakewalk problem...please help!!

hi,

i'm just a newbie using outdated stuff, but anyway.

i was using my cakewalk 9 (pent 2 win 98) and then i got on the phone i use on my puter (pc to phone program) while i was talking i tried to bring up cakewalk and play some tracks. i guess that caused a conflict and the backgroung color on the waveforms turned yellow and now the tracks won't play. i tried reinstalling cakewalk and it still didn't work, so i'm guessing it's a setting on the puter that i have to change??

anybody know what happened here?

This has happened to me a few times as well, but I'm running XP.

A reboot generally fixes it for me. Seems to have something to do with sound card drivers.

Have you looked at the track properties (source and target)?

Well, are the properties correct? Is what I'm saying. If not, fix 'em.
