I'm finally upgrading to TRS cables...from my mono (just +/-) cables...

I'm thinking 6-12 feet should work good...anyone have any suggestions/links to some quality ones that will last? cheaper is always better for me too...hahaha

I like their cables.

As a point of reference, TS cables are (+/ground)
TRS cables are (+/-/ground)

You can still send a mono signal over a TRS cable.

If you go with Hosa cables don't get the kind with the plastic molded ends. Only buy cables that have proper metal ends, as they will last a lot longer and can be repaired if they break.

Markertek will also make cables to order, I've had them do that a number of times for me. The advantage to having cables custom made is that you can get the lengths right so that you don't have coils of cable laying around in your studio.

The other option is to make your own cables. Except for some snakes, I've made most of my own cables. In the long run it saves money and the cables can be built exactly right as far as lenght and the types of ends and adaptors needed.
