I've only had my DAW up for about a day, and while everything seems to be working fine, I can't figure out how to hear my MIDI output. I'm new to MIDI, so its probably something really simple, but basically I want to be able to hear my MIDI metronome on sonar through my main outputs (1&2) on my c-port. Do I need to hook up a keyboard to the MIDI outputs of the C-port and patch the keyboard into the mixer or is there a way to just monitor the MIDI output through my speakers like on cheaper soundcards? The PC speaker works, but it isn't loud enough. Thanks for any help.
