Bring Back Transfat!
I finally figured out why I wasn't getting all sound sources (mic, Windows wavs, and misc inputs) to make it from the breakout box and through the sound card. The C-Ports external mixer has a selection of secondary boxes to link to. In my case, I needed to activate the "General Box" and patch my 7/8 inputs to it.

A couple problems remain though. One is that as soon as I hit REC my mic signal goes dead. I can be tapping my mic and hearing it through my monitors, but as soon as I push record, the signal dies.

The other problem may have something to do with the first. I have my C-Port settings on 24/44.1 and when I select these settings in Power Tracks, I get an error message advising that, "At least one of your devises does not support this setting. Try reducing settings to 16 bit." WTF?!

The problem with the mic signal going dead is still present even at the 16 bit setting.

Any ideas?
