I am still using CEP 1.2a.
My question is, can I save my files in Broadcast Wave Format at 24/44.1?

Also, How can I easily verify that I am truly recording in 24 bit.
I have selected 32 bit input on my track, but how do I know my sound card is truly recording at 24 bit?
When I save a file in 24 bit, the file still seems rather small compared to the 16 bit versions of the same length.
My card is an Aardvark LX6 capable of 24/96.
 
About your second question: if your card can handle 24-bit and if you've selected 24-bit in Cool Edit when you start your session, then you're working in 24-bit. Of course, Cool calls it 32-bit floating point, but it's virtually 24-bit. When you've started or opened a session, check down near the bottom of the screen just above the Windows toolbar and below the Cool Edit meter. Cool Edit will display the bitdepth of the session, among other things. If it isn't displaying that info, right click on that bar and enable 'Sample Format'.

I've been using CEP for awhile and never saw the little format box at the bottom before!

Still no idea on the Broadcast Wave Format?
 
I'm not a radio guy, and I don't recognize the format you mention, but because Cool is one of the editors of choice for radio guys, I would be very surprised if it didn't handle anything the radio industry throws at it.

BTW, you say you want to save your files in 24-bit/44.1 KHz. But Cool Edit suggests 16-bit for radio work, doesn't it?
