Okay, here is the deal on how I record.

Mixer is hooked up to a processor and a receiver. I run a cord from the line in of my computer to the headphone jack of my receiver. Now my problem is that my receiver buzzes like a bitch! I haven't made an attempt to see if it's very noticeable in recordings because I need longer cord hooking up my computer to play out the receiver. Is there any solution as to how to stop this besides buying a new one, because that's just not an option.

By the way, my mixer tends to do only picking up the right channel, the left channel is weak in the meters and there isn't any pan/balance knobs turned. The stereo aux returns seem o be the problem, maybe wrong wiring in the back of my processor? I haven't much of a chance to look at it because it's late and I'm not feeling like going though this. Help! Thanks.

im not picturing this for some reason. Can you be more specific, what type of receiver and what type of processor. What are they hooked up with?

I'll try to be more specific. I got the "one channel is louder than the other" figured out by the way. The receiver is a "JVC RX-207" just 'yer average receiver. I don't know how old it is, but not very old anyway. The main outs on my mixer run into "tape 1" in the back of my receiver. Then from the headphone jack of the receiver, I run a patch cord to the line in on my computer. I have toyed with the receiver but I can't do much about it. I've been too busy to really look into it, and I can't now, but suggestions would be good I guess.

P.S. The processor is a BBE 482 and it uses the stereo aux sends/returns on my mixer.
