Hello,
I'm planning on buying a multi recording soundcard. My mission: recording the musical trash that my girlfriends 5-headed band makes
We have an old mixer without any direct-out's (Peavey Unity 2000)
- A guitar, with a mic in front of an amp, jacked in the mixer
- A bassguitar, jacked in the mixer without an amp
- Vocals on a mic, also jacked in directly
- Drums, three mics, direct
- keyboard, L+R
I want to be able to record them seperatly with my pc, and i read a lot about the 1010lt. Now, i know the 1010lt has two mic pre-amps, but will i need to buy 4 extra ones for the drums and the bassguitar? Or will it also work without?
And is it possible to have the 8 outputs output the original, unaffected sound so we can route that to the existing mixer (we'll still use that for monitoring)
And if someone has an alternative, bring it on
