I've been recording w/ cubase LE for a little while now and today when I went to open my most recent project it says the 40 day trial has passed and if I want to use it i have to purchase the program... since when I do you have to buy cubase le if you bought an interface and it came with it?

I have no playback so I'm guessing this is the cause?

If all they shipped you was a demo, then you have to buy it.

Go hear instead: www.reaper.fm

(You can try it out uncrippled and unexpiring all you want before you buy it...)

It wasn't shipped to me. When I bout my Presonus Audiobox, the cd came in the box with it, and it says nothing on the actual disk about being a trial version...

Are you sure it means purchase, or does it want you to register?

I think if you look on the CD, there is a serial number printed on it. You probalby just have to enter that into a screen somewhere, and it will be 'activated' or 'unlocked'.

I'm pretty sure you can't buy Cubase LE anywhere. It just comes as bundled software.

I registered it and everything when I first got it, now I'm not getting any playback and I'm thinking it's because of this pop up. It doesn't even lead me to a place to purchase it. It's just an OK button to click on and the pop up goes away. I'm frustrated

The message just says 40 day trial version has expired. If you wish to continue using the program you have to purchase it, then I can only click OK.

It's Cubase LE4, does that make a difference?
