Look at all the problems associated with Wintel based recordings.

I had an earlier thread about how "computer recording is evil".

The truth is both. I'd rather track to ADATs and edit in my computer, then tranfer back to the ADATs to mix thru my analog desk. That's the truth for me.:D
 
*sigh* computers will catch up someday, as they're improving like hell, you just wait!!!

I just love seeing Error 9 ...... Maybe tape is broken........ try another.........HAHAHAHAAHAHAH.....this guy puts in 100 hours of work.......maybe tape is broken ?!?!!? hehehehehehehe

To record a vocal take for a single phrase is about 1 hour.
55 min. to get the ADATS to lock at the same time and start together. Yikes..Sheesh


Put a sock in it ED.......
 
i'm wondering whether this is an ethical, political, aesthetic, or feminist issue.
 
Yeah, ADATs and socks sound real good together, I would recommend them to anybody.
 
The H/R.com Right Coast Jamfest showed me just how wonderful ADATs are.
I'll take HD recording over that ANY day.

I must say, I suck with computers, and would be better with analog etc. daw's whatever..... BUT, ever since i started recording only to my computer, it has taught me more then I ever learned, plus I'm getting way better at recording, theres cheapo software plug-in's to use for EVERYTHING, and I know a lil bit about computer's.

I'm out.
