burning to a cd.

so i have recorded some stuff through audio interface(on audio track), into Cubase 5le.it seems it saves them as a bak. file , a cpr. file and a wav. file.i tried to burn them to a cd , in which my burning software will do it but it does not playback.it acts like it is playing back in windows media player but no sound.is there something i need to do , or can someone point me in right direction?thanks
 
Probably you need to export the mix to a new 16bit/44.1k stereo audio file. Then you can burn it to an actual Audio CD to play on various systems.
