Burning CDs

Okay, don't laugh. I keep hearing people say that you can burn CD's that already have info on them - like those AOL or MSN CD's you get in the mail and don't use. Is that true? If so, how do you copy over them?
 
Only certain types of disks -- so-called CD-RW or rewriteable CDs. You of course need a burner that can handle these kind of disks. They are also a bad idea for using as audio CDs because only the most modern CD players will recognize them. I doubt very much that those freebies from AOL etc. are CD-RW disks, since they would cost more than plain CD-Rs would.

Personally I never use them since I have good regular CD-R disks that cost about a quarter apiece...
 
No, you can not re-record over the sample CD's sent out to you.

But, like he said, you can purchase blank CD's for an inexpensive amount. :)

Plus, I get 200 CD's for $12.00, that's $.06 per CD. :D
