Burning Cds ....how Many Songs Can U Put On One Cd ?

WOULD APPRECIATE ANY INFO ..HAVE BEEN TOLD U CAN BURN LOADS OF SONGS ON TO A CD .......BUT IS THAT ONLY FOR ZIPPING YOUR MUSIC FILES .....I WANT TO KNOW HOW MANY SONGS CAN U BURN ON A CD U WANT TO PLAY ON YOUR HOME STEREO ?

PLEASE HELP ME......LOL .....IHAVENOCLUE
 
Standard CD's are 74 minutes but you can buy 80 and I think 100 min also. So depends how long your tracks are but I'll leave you to do the maths.
 
Redbook spec is 74 minutes.... you can buy CD-Rs with more capacity, but anything beyond the 74 minute mark *may* not play on some CD players.
 
ty for the info .....blue and kevin .......i know u are thinking .....she really doesnt have a clue ..i know ..but im old and new at this ...so just checking ..thanks again.
 
you also have to factor in if they are wav/cda or mp3s some cds are like 74 minutes or 800 megabytes last total for packing mp3s on a cd was 268. of course some songs on there were 8 and 9 minutes long
