I use my 2488neo at my rehearsal studio to record bands during their sessions. currently all we do are basic room recordings with a mic or two in the room to give them a reference track to listen to before their next rehearsal.
the problem is I would like to record a 70 minute segment of an entire rehearsal and then give the band a copy of a CD of the session when they leave but then I must 'MIX' the 70 minutes before burning the CD even though there really is no actually mixing involved, just setting a level.
It seems like a waste of time to have to sit and let the track basically copy to itself using the level I set rather than just letting me dump the track to a CD using the level that I set during the recording process.
having to wait 70 minutes before I can burn a CD is NOT an option for a room recording yet I am forced to do this.
Does anyone know of any way to burn a CD WITHOUT having to basically listen to the entire 70 minutes before I can burn a copy to CD?
thanks !
