Build E-kit, Trigger Questions!

hey guys instead of going with the popular radioshack piezos from the buzzers and wiring it under a practice pad, would it be any better to use the Red Hot drum triggers? I was just thinking about getting something thats a little more professional and already has the wires cause I've never done wiring and don't have a soldering iron. Any help is greatly appreciated
