I think I've found a bug in the Muon's Electron & TauPro, and WaveArts Trackplug & Masterverb plugins. But it could be a HS2002 problem too. To test it, I need a SONAR user who also uses these plugins.

Please try this out and respond please:

To reproduce it, follow the next steps:

- Open a new Cakewalk Project with at least two audiotracks (the standard template is good enough)
- Add one of your plugins to the first track, change some setting or choose a preset different from the default
- Copy the effect of the first track to the second track (press ctrl and drag the effect, you probably know the deal)
- Check the plugin settings of both the first track as well as the second track. They should be exactly the same, since you've copied it.
- Now insert a new track right above the second track (select the second track and right click, choose Insert Audio track)
- Again, check the settings of the plugin. You'll see that the second track has reverted to the default settings. The first track is still OK.

It only appears when you COPY the effect: if you just ADD the effect to the second track, and change the setting, insert a track, it all works fine. I've tried this out with a lot of other plugins and they all worked fine.

Don't have HS or the plugs to help here, but with problems like what you're finding, the plugs's site help/forum is a good way to get directly to the source of it.
Some similar problems were reported at UltraFunk, they acknowleged quickly and followed with an update.

I just need one (1) SONAR user who's kind enough to download this plugin (http://www.wavearts.com/demos/PowerCouple.exe), install it and check this out for me.

I've already had contact with the plugin companies and posted this on their boards also. But since this board is filled with SONAR users I thought this would be the right place to post.

I was just curious, that's all...
 
...Yeah, you're not the only one. I've tested in SONAR 2.2 XL. :(

Weird, I just tested it with the SONAR 2.2 demo and the problem doesn't occur.

Did I misunderstand you, James?
 
No problems on my system, the settings remain intact. :)
 
I've uninstalled the plugin already, if that's okay... :D
