Thats the type of stuff I can listen to...this could be on MTV lol w/ a video

Listening with a critical ear here, for your benefit Knotty.

Vocals are overcompressed, completely no dynamics to them at all. Sounds like she recorded on sub-par equipment... can hear artifacts all over the vocals, but that might be because of the MP3 compression. However, the vocals aren't warm, they're a bit harsh, and muddy. I'd suggest an EQ cut around 400hz-700hz to clear em up a bit, maybe a slight boost at 3Khz-4Khz to give them a bit of air. Beat sounds like it's mixed well.

Overall, not my style of music at all but, there's a market for it.

good work....i still got alot of work to do on it and the beat....listening in the car today..and i might have done the overcompressing myself...im goin to work on it more this weekend..good look on the feed from both of you
 
I can't really comment on the qualities of the mix since I'm listening through my notebook's shitty small speakers. From what I can hear though (which is mostly hi-mid's to hi's, is that it can be a banger. I'mma listen to it on my desktop w/ my studio monitors when I get back to the crib, but the beat does sound like it's mixed pretty well as always ;)

That is a banger...............Yeah I see what change is saying, but that is, as he said, being critical. A slight high boost would definitely add the warmth you need to get it damn near on da dime!

damn that is 1 sick ass beat right there.....the is somethin goin on wit them vocals tho i can't describe it they kinda sound like they got a lil flange effect goin on wit em, thas the only thing that sounded off to me though...but yo that beat is sick son
