I went to Nashville for thanksgiving and went to Gruhn guitars while there.I've never seen more shit under one roof that I could not afford!I got to play this baby for a little while.

It is a 59 and it is as sweet as bear meat.I had to put it down because i started having fantasies about hauling ass out of the door with it.
One thing that really amazed me was the amount of vintage
guitars they had sitting around on flimsy stands. This place gets a lot of traffic, and there were a lot of kids in the store.I wonder how
many times one of those high priced guits have been smashed?

I was in there about 5 years ago. That was the coolest shop I've ever been in. I was really surprised that they would let me play any guitar I wanted to.

Yeah........but $47,000 for a guitar is stupid.

I had a couple that would be worth bucks today. I had a Les Paul bass (yeah, I know....a terrible bass ) but this one was serial number 0001 !!

And I had a '54 Les Paul fretless wonder that was one of 18 hand-made pre-production prototypes.
I traded it for a Hagstrom Swede and a bag of white cross. :(
