Brian May Amp?

pretty nice for the high gain sustaining solo sound, definitely has a unique sound. not too loud or versatile, and the boost thing doesn't sound good at all.

I've try a lot of amps. I've tried this amp. It didn't suck. But, it didn't say "buy me" either. As said above it's got a unique sound but it's not versatile.

One amp that's totally floored me is the Gibson Les Paul Jr. amp. That thing rocks.

I have a Brian May in my amp collection. Excellent beginner's amp, simple controls and very portable. Chicks do dig the cosmetics.

The white tolex and reddish grille cloth look really cool next to my 14-year-old son's Chrome Red Strat with its white pickguard. But he wasn't getting the tones he wanted on "Stairway to Heaven". I brought in my Pathfinder 15R, gave it a little reverb, gain, etc. and now he has graduated to 15 watts!

Since Brian May's original "Deacy" home-made amp was retired due to non-available antique parts, he supposedly is using this amp as a replacement effect running into his Vox stacks!

Great amp - if you want the "Dreamer's Ball" style wire choir sound.
