Breakout box help

I'm looking at buying a LynxONE. Has anyone used this card? My main concern is that there is no sort of breakout box included-just some cables. Is there any way to get a box for a card like this or record more than 2 tracks at once?

Wherein Dragon explains a device that's a bit fancier than you need. But pay attention anyway, because he explains how to wire it simple or fancy and have fun at the same time in case you'd rather roll your own. The Lynx has a breakout "snake" akin to the MIDIman 2044. It's described at:

This also indicates that all your audio connections have to be XLR. And the digital I/O's are also XLR, but switchable between AES/EBU and S/PDIF format. And this answers your second question. The card has two analog ins and two analog outs. So if you wanted to record more than two tracks at once, the extra pair would have to be from an outboard digital source, or mixed down to two tracks before it got to the line in. They're not too clear as to whether digital/analog source mixing to produce 4 tracks of input is even supported, but I'd guess it would be. Gina does this. And she doesn't have all those fancy XLR connections.
