got as far as clicking edit after i selected index.html
i took me to a page of layout choices - colors - etc.
then image files - dunno - no area to type the link u gave me ?
I can be soo html challenged...

OH YEAH!
You have to find where you choose the 'advanced HTML editor' you were in the basic. Once you do that you can copy in all the HTML you want. Good luck!

okay - i bascially copied and pasted what u wrote - and got the real player to show on my site- but how do i make it play my track.

GREAT!!! Now just make sure that the location for your MP3 file is typed in correctly...it has to be EXACTLY the way as seen in your files, or it won't play...it IS CASE SENSITIVE. If you verify that, and it's right and still won't play. Copy your whole tag as you have it, and paste it HERE, and I will take a look and see if their is anything funny with it. OK?

OK. I see nothing wrong with your HTML...it SHOULD play. One more thing. It MIGHT be playing...just NOT on your computer. Call up a buddy and send them to your page and see if it plays for them. I had that issue. It won't play on my computer at work. But will play at home. I dunno. Test it and see what happens. So far so good mi amiga.

i saved the track as .rm and it plays - !!! yeah
but the quality is really bad - and i mean REALLY bad.
Are there certain settings i need when saving them ?

As to HOW to make them things sound better. That is outta my ballpark. I dunno WHAT the hell I'm doing...i just go for it. I say start a new thread. Actually, NO!
I could've SWORN i saw a thread that had info on how to improve sound quality on MP3, RA, WMF files etc.
Do a search under a 'close to' topic, and see what you can dig up.
Yeah, i know i SHOULD have an answer...but i've yet to figure out the mysteries of sound quality myself. I just press RECORD and press buttons and call it a day.
That's why 3/4 of my stuff is NOT DONE!. UG!!!
