SO! You excited yet??? I am. HEY! They'll announce the winner of the remix contest today...(it NEVER hurts to have too much hope...right??? RIGHT!!! RIIIGGGHHHTT!!!) But am curious to find out what made the cut...especially since they never stated what they were looking for...just gave you the .wav files and said go at it. I've heard some seriously good stuff, bad stuff and everything else in between. I'd say i'm stuck firmly in the middle of the ladder. Although my remix has been reviewed since posted and is averaging 9 stars outta 10. NOT BAD??!!??

OH! Made bizness cards...that way i can feel like i too am actually 'doing something' other than being a COMPLETE and total SLOTH while down south. HA HA!!!

Man. The wheels are turnin. Took a 3 part bass melody/middle/harmony...broke out some beats...and tonight...i have been blessed with LYRICS!

Entitled 'Big Bad Bass'. AWWWW YEEEAAAHHHH. Hey. I'm gonna pop it up for a sec at that angelfire sight. I'll post when it's up. Still not completed, but it's a lovelllllyyy base....

I need to hear it on a system. These computer monitors aren't doing your song the justice it deserves. ;)

I think that the vocals are up too much in the mix.

I think the base is too low.

I think that you need to add some more elements to this song.

Base...as in whoomp, or bass as in bass guitar???

I think that you need to add some more elements to this song.
Throwin' down some 'Bwat' trumpet and maybe a jazz organ type deal and some wierd sound effects here there and everywhere...also must change the wording in the chorus and jostle around the insides a bit.

4) I need the rest of these directions in a BAD way...I've got enough to get me there! But so far so good!

5) OK...I lied...i ended up unpacking my kitchen last night...then jumping into the jacuzzi tub, and well, didn't get out for a WHILE and went to BED!! I'll try again TONIGHT. I swear. Also...jacked up the studio...plugged something in WRONG! NO MIDI from the keyboard...that thing is so DAMN temperamental...I'm gettin a roland next time...i'm ok though...i'll just record all audio. I wish i could've stayed with Gina longer...we were havin' good 'girl talk'...but...the heifer at the office just couldn't find it in her ice cold heart of hearts to stay longer...(after taking a 1.5 hour lunch) and leaving me alone WHEN IT WAS BUSY. OOOOOOHHHH!! Watch what happens the NEXT TIME...'do you mind if I....'...YES!!! YES Damnit I DO MIND! And if you have a PROBLEM with me minding....call the MANAGER, see what HE says. LAZY WOMAN!!!
