just did my first mix if you can call it that... I recorded balanced,panned and a tiny bit of eq but might be doing the eq bit wrong.
Im looking for input on if my levels sound way off... I think I have a problem where I hear things are out that aren't and boost too much certain tracks etc...
there is no vocals yet just been trying to get the music right... the one thing I will say it sounds a bit flat when the accompanying lead guitars come in and lose that attack it has when its just the drums bass and rhythm guitar in the verse... infact it sounds flat in general once I rendered it to mp3 … had much more attack and bounce while playing in the DAW
would love to hear all thoughts and things I can do to improve it.
