Brain On That - Critique My Mix

I've attach one of my first recordings using my new equipment. This is a hip hop artist I know. I have 2 mixing projects working on now so I'll post those when I'm done as well for critique. Don't worry about my feelings you all can take the gloves off with me. I look forward to your comments.

That sounds ridiculously pro!
My only criticism would be the snare-style sound is a little quiet but I don't really know if the song needs it to be particularly loud anyway

I think the Vocals could go down, it sounds like a Karaoke version of something with the BG music that low......

Agreed. Quality of the vocal track(s) is good, but the rest of the music seems too quiet to me. I'd want especially to make the snare sound fatter. But then I don't know a damned thing about mixing rap, so take my suggestions with a grain of salt, if you so desire.

Thanks for the advice I'll try to bring down the vocals a little and see what I can do about that snare if anythingi since the music was already mixed.
