Just received this message on one of my other forums. Just wondering if any of you were aware of what this person is saying.--------------------------

"Just saw your post about your purchase of a BR-1600CD.

I just wanted to e-mail you about the existance of a software utility that makes it easier (and extremely faster) to export WAV files from the BR-1600CD to a PC for post-production (mixdowns/editing etc). I developed this utility when I found that the BR-1600CD USB function was limited to one mono or stereo track at a time.

My company's website is http://www.topsoundproductions.com - I have a whole write-up about what I discovered, how I developed the utility and how it works. I also discovered a "trick" that can be used for making post-production of entire live gigs easier (no hunting for start ends of songs if you start/stop recording during the process).

Just trying to get the word out... if you know any other BR-1600CD user's I would appreciate it if you would please forward this e-mail to them.

Hope the program can help you as it's helped me. Thanks!"

Yes, I seen his post and understand the software he wrote for BR-1600. The USB transfer is pretty slow and if you use a computer based sotware like Cakewalk, his program will download all the tracks, instead of one or two tracks.
