It appears that the VU meter lights don't illuminate, and the dbx LEDs are either not illuminated, or not selected.

IF it's the case that they're not lighting, and/or any other large or encompassing malfunction,... CHECK THE FUSES in the fuse section.

I've seen blown or bad fuses cause a number of major failures, like that. Anyway, it's a cheap fix, too.

I figured for the price It would be good for parts if needed on my other two.
Il have to admit half the fun is getting it and getting it to work with out alot of trouble or it just working great and cleaning it up for display.

I need to quit buying and start recording some more :o

I've got a closet full of 1/4" reels from my old 3340S sessions back in the 80's and I haven't touched them in years! :(

I'm really hoping to get this one to work on some of that material again and also look into using it as a mastering deck too!

We'll see how it goes.

It's even better to get it, & it works fine, or that if it doesn't work, that it's a quick & easy fix, like a fuse, a belt, or reseating the cards on the motherboard.

They're blowing out a sweeeet Dokorder 7100s too that plugs in and....oh, wait, sorry, I forgot. I already bought it..... suckas!!!!!

I think if I could find a nice 42 or 52, that would really complete the collection for me.

After that, I guess another M312B cascaded into the first two would be nice to handle all the decks at once with no re-patching!!

The maybe a 234 for those old portastudio tapes....

I really need to look for a set of good monitors before i buy anymore recorders.

Maybe Il give them a call tommarrow and ask about it.

It is listed as sold as is on the main page.

Maybe they can tell something about the machine on the phone, you never know it might be worth a trip up north.
