I just got my 1180 and after recording 3 tracks realize that I need to move the data on 1 track over 1 measure. I've read the manual until my eyes bleed and still can't move it. I know I'm not stupid so I must be missing something painfully obvious, also it's making me crazy. I'm sure it's easy to do I just need someone who has done it to explain it to me. Help before I go completely whacked.

You need to use Utility, Select Track Move + Insert. Select your entire track as the data you want to move and select the place you want to insert it. On my VS1680 I would probably use a marker (fine tuning by using the Preview buttons) to place where I would want to track to be moved to, Use Utility Track Move + Insert to select the entire track I'm shifting, and then using the position of the marker as the insert point. I'm using a VS1680, somewhat similar but not exactly the same.

It's Page 68 and 69 of the BR-1180 manual.

Good Luck,

- Mike

Thanks all for the replies. I've read the manual cover to cover now and think its just a bit vague in some areas. I see also that I've been using the wrong utility. I've been using track-move instead of move-insert. Also I didn't take the time to figure out exact placement. My bad. Thanks again, I'll try it your way this time.
Oh yeah. I want to move the data because I recorded some of it in the Wrong place and don't want to get into why I did it that way. :)
