Boy do I feel dumb - but simple question

After doing some research, apparently not enough, I bought a Lexicon Lamba interface.

To install it, you need a DVD drive. My computer meets all the other specs but has a CD-RW drive not DVD.

I have another computer in the house (laptop) that also meets all specs and has DVD but for reasons too complicated to explain will not be the permanent computer I can use.

But, I'd like to take the interface for a spin. So, does anybody know if there would be a problem with installing the Cubase LE4 on the laptop and then when I get another computer (or install a different drive) loading it again on the permanent computer?

(when I bought my Guitar tracks cakewalk software a few years ago it would only let me install it on one computer)

You can get a "virtal cd/dvd" program. I use magiciso, here's a link http://www.magiciso.com/

You can copy the DVD to a usb stick or mem card, transfer it to your hard drive, then run it from there.

Or as mentioned, buy a dvd drive!
