Box Spring Gobo

I have two twin sized box springs in good shape that I want to fill with rock wool and nail or glue a piece of plywood to the back of. I also have a couple moving blankets that I bought to line my closet with when I recorded vocals there. If I cover the front of the gobos with the blankets will it absorb less than a plain frabric like Muslin? Maybe I should just get twin fitted sheets?

I'd go with the sheets if your gonna stuff with the rock wool. The moving blankets are probably a little bit too tightly woven.

Just glue/staple a new piece of fabric to the back of the boxspring.

So you're saying don't even bother with the plywood?

Plywood is heavy. Not sure if the extra isolation is worth it. You could try without first and see how you like it.
