I have two ADAT XT's. How do you bounce tracks from one to the other? The Manual seems rather vague.

The only way I have been able to bounce tracks on an ADAT machine is to route them thru the mixer. I don't think it can be done within the ADAT machine itself. You need to have a track on the ADAT free to accomodate whatever other tracks you are combining onto one track. You can then free up the other tracks for additional recording.

You can copy tracks digitally from one machine to another, but you can't submix them digitally.... as Tyler said, you have to use a mixer for that....
