A 1986 Yamaha 1220A. 24 frets, through neck, emg active humbuckers w/splitter, high end snap in floyd rose. I owned one of these once before and was sorry I let it go, now I have another.

I like yamaha construction/wood.
I have one "extra cheap" pacifica, tottaly modified (except wood) with EMGs too (2 singles and 1 85 at bridge (I love this pickup)

New axes are fun. I played a Gretsch Country Gent for 15 years, then switched over to a Les Paul in 1997 (I know, I'm sooooo fickle!). Now I'm working a deal to swap an amp for an Epi Sheraton II (love those thin hollow-bodies) and I can't wait.

Have fun with the Yammer.

Just another one of those situations where price does not equal quality...

Of course, I'm just knocking the style - I know some of the high-end shredder guitars were actually very well built, very playable instruments. It just looks like something out of a hair metal video :D
