Bought a Midi Controller

I recently bought a Midi Controller. Alesis Q-25. I also have Mixcraft 5. I was blown away by all the virtual instruments I can now put on my tracks. I can't play piano for a lick but it doesn't matter. You can put in drums, brass, guitars, cymbals, flutes, orchestra and what not very easily. Can't believe I waited so long. I paid $59 for the Q25 at Amazon.com. Instruments are already present on mixcraft 5. They sound great. I would recommend it to anyone recording.

I just checked out mixcraft 5 and it looks like a nice easy program to work with, a bit like garageband for windows.
