boss dr-770

i'm looking to purchase a dr-770 and i want to make sure that i'll be able to play the drum pads on the 770 and have the notes transfer into cakewalk pro audio 9 via midi. has anyone used this machine in this fashion?

I used a DR. 660 (older brother) and i have used it with a keybord sequencer like you are talking about. No problems... You just have to get your ins and outs down right and avoid a midi loop. Find your instrument definition file for the 770 and it should setup very easy. They'll maybe have it somewhere at ROLANDUS.COM...
