Boss br-1600 guitar bus issue

Hey all!
I have been having major guitar issues with my boss mixer. The problem is that when I plug my guitar into the guitar input I have very loud buzzing noises. When I put my fingers on the strings it reduces the level of this but there still remains persistent buzzing. This is frustrating, so does anyone have sone ideas to get rid of these issues?

Sounds like a grounding/polarity issue. Do you get the same sound if you plug your guitar into an amp?

Try plugging the BR1600 into a different wall outlet (different circuit, not in the same room) and see if it still happens. Is this a new problem? If so anything change in your set-up?
