Hello All,
My first posting.
I recently purchased a Boss BR-1600 CD for my dad for his birthday. The problem remains that he lives abroad and doesn't use 110 V as his power source. Back home it's 220 V. I was wondering if the PSB-3U that comes with the Boss BR1600CD is compatible with the 220 V power source that's seen elsewhere. I have noticed on the PSB-3U it says that it's input can vary from 110-240V. But there's a small little diamond on the lower right side that says:
50/60 Hz
100 V
101 VA
So I'm not entirely sure. I just don't want to risk blowing up this spanking new machine. I read somewhere else on a Boss GT-6 forum someone hurt his new machine by plugging in a BRC120 into a 220 V socket. Ouch.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Fernie
