booting in safe mode every time

Is there a way to get my computer to start up in safe mode automatically every time? I have to restart about one time out of three these days (I know, I know - time for a Win98 reinstall), and it'd be easier to go the slower but more reliable route every time.

I have the same question, why do you want to start in safe mode? I would do what your first suggestion was, reinstall upgrade 98, that's what I'm going to do when I'm done here. It's kinda like changing your oil.
