boot problem w/Sony Vaio

I don't think teh D matters if it's upper or lower case. Is there a Windows sticker on the pc case? If so, you should be able to use that for validation. If not, I got nothing there.

And if you are doing what altutude says, type things in EXACTLY like he has....spaces and all. These things like exactness..... :D
 
This is sort of bizare,but I just tried the "activation over the internet",and it seems to have activated.Wierd!
 
if it activated then you are done. I recommend keep updating it until its current, then install everything
