Can anyone suggest a/some really good books on MIDI? I find myself sorely lacking in this aspect of music and recording and would like to increase my knowledge in this area.:wtf: Thanks!:guitar:

My Audio Expert book includes a lot of information about using MIDI and synthesizers, as well as technical details. Though it's not inexpensive because it covers much more than MIDI.

Ethan, thanks for the prompt response. And I will be purchasing your book! I googled it to check it out. It is full of knowledge that I seek! And honestly, I think your book would be of interest to anyone interested in music, recording, and audio in general. You received glowing reviews from almost everyone, including the manufacturers of a lot of the equipment I own! Had I been aware of it's existence I would have already purchased it! Thanks!

Well thanks very much. I should have mentioned that the section on synthesizers is extremely detailed, and explains how they work as well as how to use them.
