Hey there
On the FX loop
From the jack marked send... hook a audio (guitar) cable from here to the input of your device.
From the output of your device hook an audio cable to the return of the amp.
On the knobs... set the send and mix levels to about 12 o clock to start.
make sure your selecter switch is in the FS position.

That should be all there is to it.
if you still get nothing but hum.... then either your outboard device has a problem, or the amp has a problem. to test if the amp is ok, run a guitar cable from the fx input to the fx return, if no hum, then the amp is fine.

i can get it to work but theres still a hum in it running a cable from send to return

when i plug it all up it workd but it gets a hum to it as well as some crackling - sounds like theres a short in it

time to take it to a shop to get looked at...

thanks for the help

I had an issue recently on my FX loop where there was crossover distortion on the FX loop only. Tube issue. Take it to a tech and they can figure it out.

yeah

the only time it hums is when i mess with the fx loop - im gonna take it in and have a pro look at it

thanks
