....or not....you never know...

How does this tune sound? Drums too loud??? I'm not sure if this sounds any good. Let me know if there be an issues.

It should play right away. The song is called CYNICAL.
That's streaming quality (not very good). If you want to download, just go to the "FREE MUSIC" page.

The lyrics (if you care) are HERE

Needs a little more verb on the guitars. Great tempo and feel. Just a little too dry.

Very mystical. Very organic. This is my favorite so far.

Love the syncopated breaks -nice

..........No nits really with the song at all.

The crash cymbals could have a little more weight to them. They could be a little louder in relation to your kick and snare. HH level is good though - so I don't know if you can tweak that much or not.

On the portions where theres a lot of background vocals, it would be nice to be able to follow the lead vocal more easily, IMO. Then again, maybe not. /shrugs/

Inspirational drumming, Rami.

Thanx buddy. Good ears about the cymbals. There's not much I can do about it. It was my own mistake during tracking. I moved my studio around, moved my drums, and only realised after doing the track that one cymbal was too close to the mic and one was too far. That's why the cymbal on the right is a little harsh and the other one is almost inaudible. I'll have to live with it unless/until I retrack the drums.

I'll wet the guitars a little more.

Thanx alot Casey.

Download this sucker...it sounds nice. The player doesn't do it justice. ;)

I like it. Nice job all around. I like the driving of the drums...the cymbal that moves things along. Gives it an upbeat vibe, move forward vibe. I really like the bass notes that lead into other progressions...nice break. When the drums are solo, nice sound from the kick. (that's when I really notive it...)

This is one that I don't even care what the words say...they just flow nicely... (no offense on the lyrics....the progression is just pretty cool, and overall feel is good..)

Well put together man...try it with a different guitar sound, but I liked it.

Definitely DL this though...there is a lot happening, and it needs to be heard.

Cool Tune Ramster.

I really liked the beat in this one, I`m not much of drum critic but your drums allways sounds top shelf to me, great that is.

I really think the vox are great on this tune fresh and tight.

I think the guitars tend to be a bit thin, but that could to suit the mix what do I know, I love the playin though.

I really love the level of productivity you represent, truley impressive.

Thanks for sharing mate :)

Bloody heck you do this so well.
The bass lines are ACE.
I loved the panned riff play between the guitars - nice touch.
Another dark lyric to a BIG BEAT.
Tres, tres, tres bonn monsieur!

Great song Rami. Guitars sound great. They're a little 'raw' sounding, but thats personal taste. They definitely fit this song. Bass line kicks ass, and the drums are fantastic. Kick drum sounds perfect. Snare may a little loud but it has a great tone. The thing that stands out to me the most are the vocals and especially the backing vocals. Fucking awesome. I love how you did the backing tracks. Great harmonies and they sit very well. Overall another great performance. Good job. :)

Thanx for all the feedback, guys. I appreciate it. I guess I was too worried about 2 distorted guitars clashing for the parts they're playing. So I might have used too thin a sound for at least one of the tracks. I did a few things differently for this tune in general, so I wasn't sure if it all worked. Still got to do some tweaking. Thanx again

I could use a tiny bit more lead vocals on the verse - although I like really up front vocals so that's a personal preference...... Backing vocals/arrangement is very cool. I love how you write these songs, very orchestral. Guitars are good to me tone wise. The alternating guitars towards the end is absolutley fantastic Rami - creative and executed flawlessly. Lyrics are cool too, written with meaning and delivered with conviction. Are the drums too loud - nope - they're just right. Keep us posted with any updates you make.....

:) :D :) :D

I could stand to have the vocal up a bit more in the verse, during the chorus..its just fine, otherwise another great performance, good work brother, sorry I did not see it sooner!!!

Drums sound awesome...guitar tone is great...vocals are too far back in the mix...great work!

Man you have the punchiest snare this side of the black stump. Do you mic the bottom head? I get the impression the main vocal is too far behind the guitars, needs to be more out front. Backing vox are great, the balance seems better when they come in. Couple of listens, the melodies are growing on me. Cool tune

Cool song and super tight rhythm section. Guitars are kind of Beatles 1966 or so. Can’t get better than that IMO. The ride cymbal (correct term?) stands out re great sound quality in passages such as at 4:13. Only thing I’d change is that I’d like the bass gtr to make the floor shake, and maybe a little less compression on the parts overall.

IDO, Jay, James, Bull, Tim and Mr. Banks.

Thanx alot for the great insight and comments.

Bull, I don't mic the bottom of my snare. It's a fibre glass snare, so maybe that's what gives it it's snap. Thanx, man.

More than one of you has mentioned the vocals needing to come up a bit. So I will definitely do that along with at least trying everything else that has been suggested.

Thanx guys...you're all priceless.

Yo Ramibo, maybe it's just me but the download file didn't work for my player. Anyway, listening from your site. Cool progressions and your backing vox are sounding really good. How many RAMI's are singing total? Sounds cool. Your bass sounds especially good on my system on this one too. I agree about the vox volume, but just when you're going solo. Otherwise, nothing much to add. Nice tune. Definitely bomba*ss a*ssbomb shi*at and stu*ff ;)

Cool tune

(10:41) okay, I don't feel so bad now. :D .........Great track there RAMI, diggin' it!

10:41? Is that how long it took to download??? Whoah!!! Hopefully, the site was just slow at that time...I hope.

Thanx for the comments, guys. The vocals will definitely come up in the verses. I will also address the possible over-compressing going on. I did a few things differently for this tune, and might not have heard it through honest ears at the time of mixing.

Thanx alot.

I DL the tune, but WMP 11 wil not play it. Could play it with REAL Player.

I'm gonna download this. I love the breaks, the overall guitar tone and the vocals are freaking great! Rami, you have such a unique voice and it blends so well with itself on harmonies.

I agree that there is SOMETHING about the drums but I just can't pull it out. I'll download and listen in the studio, maybe that will help.

Great job yet again, Rami!
