Thx Axe, but if you could listen it again and tell me what do you think about the comments of my band´s guitarrist, he doesn´t participate on this session, the singer played all minus drums & bass.
He thought that the snare is too loud and dull, need more brightness. The slide guitar is loud and messing with the vocals. He can barely listen to the bass. What do you think???

Yeah, the slide is a little loud. The Snare sounds deep on my SP-5B Monitors but NOT dull at all.

The charm I found in this tune was that it sounded LIVE, man!

I think I should explain a little what´s the purpose of this thread. We´re planning to make a CD with ten songs (this one is part of it). Hopefully it will be ready for our next live show, and it will come free when you buy a ticket to see us. Here in my country the blues isn´t well known, there a few bands (maybe 3 or 4) that play that kind of style. We´re trying to do our best to make this music more popular around here. That´s why I´m asking for some comments and suggestions to make this project the best it can be.

I liked it overall. Good mix, good playing, good groove.

If I bought the CD I don't think I'd gripe about any of the details because it's the blues; it's supposed to be rough.

Give my song a listen, too, please, and post a comment!
 
definitely has feeling . lots of it. I like the simplicity of it. Nice piece

Thx for listening I appreciate that you give it a try. It looks like this tune has the blues vibe. I´m sure that recording bass & drums at the same time playing to a click and rythm guitar helped us to get that kind of sound.
