Blues shuffle with harmonies?

This song didn't go the direction I intended but I bashed on anyway, I thought it might be fun to write a song consisting of random thoughts strung together (pun intended) Your feedback (oh man another one!) is welcomed.

"Shake the Ground" is a great track. I love the feel . . . there's a kind of retro mood . . . some Beatles-like constructions and harmonies. There's a flavour of XTC . . . their kind of whimsical approach. To my ear there is a very British feel to this. The shuffle rhythm pushes the whole thing along and keeps the thing hanging together . . . and like the lyrics, which you mention are a string of 'random thoughts', the music, too, is a collage of random feels and different musical directions all piled up into the once piece. There's never a dull moment with this track, and I was sorry it finished!
 
Lloyd, great job! If this is the result of it 'not going the way you intended', thank god for fortunate accidents.

Love the repeating guitar riff.
